The weekend of the 16 th december i made a ride to Laubenbachmühle. So, whats special there? The small town in lower Austria will be the operation centre of the Mariazellerbahn, which operates between the lower austrian capital St. Pölten and Mariazell since 1907. So far, there flow much water down the pielach valley, the first electric locos are still in service today - they are the oldest electric locomotives in regular service of the world, that record is worth a visit and a ride. After years of incertain future the operator Növog unveiled the "Himmelstreppe", a new trainset that should bring the line into a sucessful future... Good Luck
Berlin
In December 2012 i visited the german capital town Berlin. I can highly recommend a visit in this modern pulsating town with an interesting history.
There, i took part of a guided tour around the Berlin Tempelhof Airport - its now a ghost airport, the last plane took off there 2008. The walls there tell long stories, since the airport witnessed nazionalsocialism, world war II and its american- controlled aftermath. For 11 months, Tempelhof was the main gate for supplying millions pf people of the isolated West-Berlin with life necessary goody by air.
Lovely September
In September I had the opportunity to take pictures at the wedding ceremonies of two couples - its an honor to document this very special day in their lives for themselves, their relatives and friends.

Vienna Tramway Mueum - Wiener Straßenbahnmuseum
Today the Vienna Tramway Museum opened its doors for the season 2012 - i´ve never been there for years, so it was a good opportunity to grab the cam and make a visit. They have one of the world´s largest collection of tramways - operated by horses, steam and electricity - feel free to take a virtual walk.
On stage
This week i got the opportunity to take pictures at the general rehearsal of the theater production "Das End der Zeit" by the group Fischamender Spieleut. Im glad to present the pictures in two galleries - the preparations and the rehearsal itself - with costumes and available light stage atmosphere. If anyone is around, i would warmly recommend a visit at one of their shows. Enjoy the galleries.....
